Be a S-M-A-R-T-Y When Networking:
S - Specific ... spend more time discussing WHO exactly you would like to meet and less time about HOW you do what you do.
M - More Interested In The Other Person ... the best question Master Networkers ask is "How can I help you?"
A - Act On Your Commitments ... if you commit to introduce someone, do it!
R - Research ... do your homework to determine excellent contacts (try the Internet!), don't make me do your work for you.
T – Train Your Mind ... consistently seek ways to improve your networking skills (remember that even Tiger Woods has multiple coaches to help him get better).
Y – Yourself ... be yourself in every situation - sales tactics, tricks, & gimmicks that are not truly who you are, will always fail.
